Battery Change
Batteries aren't just lead acid plates anymore that just help start your car. Batteries in many modern cars are carefully monitored by control modules of their own. Even a slightly worn out battery can cause issues with your Start/Stop System, Infotainment and even Climate Control. When we replace your battery not only will you get the clock reset correctly but also pinch protection and auto up/down reset as well. Vehicles with battery monitoring will also be reset to provide the longest life and the least amount of wear on very expensive alternators.

Check engine light on?
The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) isn't the "idiot" light your uncle told you is was years ago. Modern vehicles are as much computer as oil and gears and require an entirely different, and additional, tool set. We have the most modern scan tools and, more importantly, the knowledge to bridge gap between raw information and the experience to diagnose your vehicle in a timely, efficient manner.

Jason has spent 25 years specializing in Volkswagens and Audis and he believes that some problems require someone with an intimate knowledge not only of the cars but of how, and why, they were built that way.

Safety Inspections
Every visit to J&M Motors gets you a safety inspection. We will check your brake pad thickness, tire depth and condition, exterior lights, fluids that are easily accessible, signs of fluid leaks, damaged or noisy suspension and steering components and look for any warning lights. Safety is our job 1 and whether yours is commuting for your job, shuttling the kids to events or driving for a ride share company you can count on us to make your vehicle is as safe as possible.
